Ingredients

INGREDIENTS: Water, Onion (20%), Sugar, Ginger Purée, Garlic Purée, Coconut Cream (7%) (Coconut Extract, Water), Fish Sauce (5%) (Anchovy (Encrasicholina heteroloba) (Fish), Salt, Sugar), Modified Maize Starch, Cumin Powder, Lemongrass, Galangal, Concentrated Lemon Juice, Tamarind Concentrate, Coriander Powder, Cardamom Powder, Chilli Powder, Colour:Paprika Extract; Cinnamon Powder, Clove Powder, Acidity Regulator: Citric Acid.

Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Deep Fry

Beef massaman curry 1 jar of Sainsbury's massaman curry paste 450g diced casserole beef (diced to approximately 2cm cubes) 400ml can coconut milk 150ml beef stock 300g baby potatoes (cut in half) Salted peanuts (optional) 1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large saucepan. 2. Add the paste and fry for 1-2 minutes. 3. Add the beef and cook for a further 5 minutes. 4. Pour in the coconut milk and stock, stir well and bring to the boil. Then, cover and simmer at low heat for 1 hour. Stir occasionally. 5. Uncover, add potatoes and boil gently for 30 minutes until tender. 6. Stir in peanuts (as required) and serve with rice. For a quicker meal replace the casserole beef with diced frying steak and reduce simmer time to 20 minutes. Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary.
