Our chicken gravy is made using a rich chicken stock base which has been slowly simmered with red onions and sage. We add red wine and balsamic vinegar to enrich the savoury flavour and to create a subtle sweetness. It is finished off with butter to give it a smooth and silky finish.

To heat on the hob. Moderate heat 5-6 minutes. Empty contents into a saucepan. Stir occasionally. Do not boil or overheat. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

Before Cooking: Tear or cut open the top of the pouch. Place the pouch upright on a microwavable plate. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes 30 seconds (700W), 2 minutes (800W), 1 minute 30 seconds (900W). After cooking: Stir, leave to stand for 1 minute before serving. Handle pouch with caution.
