Sauvignon Blanc
Description
Sauvignon Blanc
Wine of Chile
Suitable for Vegans
Did you know that Ampelography is the science that enables us to identify the different grapevine varieties by the shape of their leaves?
Sauvignon Blanc's leaves are round in shape with three to five even lobes and intensely hairy undersides. Its clusters and berries are medium-sized and produce lighter-bodied wines with fruity aromas and elegant, refreshing acidity.
Wine lovers, discover our collection of artwork based on the fascinating world of the Ampelography of each wine!

History: MontGras is the most awarded young winery in Chile. Their boldly attractive wines are sourced from the best valleys across the country. The De Vine Reserva range is inspired by the world of ampelography, the study of vines. Each label displays the leaf of the grape variety inside the bottle.
Regional information: The Central Valley benefits from a Mediterranean climate, with four clearly defined seasons and significant temperature differences between day and night. This helps the grapes to ripen evenly and achieve the balance of fruit ripeness and bright acidity that makes beautiful Sauvignon Blanc.
Vinification: A portion of the grapes are macerated at cold temperatures prior to fermentation to enhance the aromatic profile of the wine. The wine is fermented in stainless steel to retain the bright, fresh fruit characteristics.
